Every feature, for everyone. There's no premium tier waiting round the corner.
No ads, ever
No pop-ups, no auto-playing videos, no scrolling past ten adverts to find the oven temperature.
No tracking
No analytics, no third-party scripts. The only cookies are the ones that keep you signed in.
Your AI, if you want it
Connect your own AI for trickier imports and nutrition estimates. Entirely optional, and you pay the provider directly for what you use.
How it works
From a link on your phone to a list in the shop.
-
1
Import it
Paste a link, snap up to four photos of a cookbook page, or paste text from anywhere. RecipeSync pulls out the ingredients and method, then shows you everything to check before it's saved. Photos and the source link come with it.
-
2
Plan the week
Drop recipes into breakfast, lunch or dinner, or let "Fill the week" choose for you, with filters for time, cost, tags, nutrition, and what you haven't had lately.
-
3
Shop from one list
Ingredients are scaled to your servings, added up and sorted by aisle. Your cupboard staples are set to one side. Ticks keep working when the supermarket signal doesn't.
-
4
Cook without the faff
Cook mode shows one step at a time in big type and keeps your screen awake. Tap a time like 20 mins to start a timer. Easy-to-miss words like drained stand out, and amounts switch to metric or imperial.
Optional
Bring your own AI. Or don't.
Out of the box, RecipeSync reads recipes using the structured data most recipe websites already publish, text recognition for photos and a careful text parser. That costs you nothing and sends your recipes nowhere.
For extra help with blurry photos, pages with no recipe data or nutrition estimates, connect an AI service with your own API key.* It only works on your own recipes, and you check every suggestion before it's saved.
Works with
- Anthropic Claude Paid API credit
- OpenAI Paid API credit
- Google Gemini Limited free tier, then paid
- Ollama on your own server Free; your hardware
- Any OpenAI-compatible endpoint Depends on the service
Prices and free allowances are set by each provider and change from time to time, so check theirs before you connect. Your key is encrypted, never shown again in full and never used for anyone else.
Kept running by the people who cook with it
There are no ads or investors to pay the server bill. If RecipeSync saves you a scroll or two, a coffee on Ko-fi keeps the lights on.
